A skaters' must read
Bought this for my 17 yr old nephew who is a skater. He hates reading but loved this book. He said, "No one wants a book from their aunt for Xmas but I like this one!"
Great for a gift or to keep for yourself
Gave this as a Christmas gift to my 20-something cousin who loves skateboarding and art. He totally loved it and didn't waste any time looking through it.
Its pretty neat
Bought this for a friend as a gift. I even browsed through it before wrapping it, its pretty cool. It has good illustratives / images and shows different cultures and environment showcasing their stuffs.
Fantastic Work
I interned for Skateboarder Magazine (RIP) while Jon was a staff photographer there and had the pleasure of scanning some of his negatives for the mag. This only adds to my appreciation of this incredible body of work that he's created and curated. His work has been the inspiration for my photography, along with countless others. This book speaks to the adventurous spirit of skateboarding and Nat Geo is the perfect home for his images. Mr. Mehring has an eye for photography forged in the crucible of the skate world that sets his style apart from any other photographer today. I realize my description is getting a bit over the top, so I will say this: this book is incredible, buy it.

Beautiful photographs.
I bought this for my boys who are avid skateboarders. It's much larger than I thought, and well worth the price. Great photography. They loved it. Captivating pictures of skateboarders all over the world. I'm happy to have it in their library.
Skater likes it!
Gift to grandson who liked it
cool book
Nice pictures for the skateboard lover in your life.
One World of Skateboarding
Great photos! Global appeal. The focus on community-based skatepark projects in each highlighted country was an added bonus I wasn't expecting when I ordered the book.
